All delivered together in a beautiful box right to their doorstep.
All of this will be done under a brand umbrella that resonates with our customer base. We see a future that is different from the current "family planning" aisle filled with blue and pink boxes, plastered with photos of white babies. Our brand will reflect the modern millennial. We are dealing with very emotional (and sometimes traumatic) subject matter for our customers, so your empathy must run high. You will need high level knowledge of digital strategies and a digital-first approach to communications and community development. You are an expert in multi-platform formats and strategies - Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Tiktok, Twitter, blog, etc. You are highly experienced in directing paid/organic search strategy, display advertising, content and retention marketing and emerging marketing channels. You understand and utilize analytics to find ways to improve performance across all channels.
This role is focused on digital marketing and community development, reporting directly to the CEO. Your role is to lead and drive communications in the US and Canada, build and expand our online audience, community and user base. You’ll be working closely with our designer and developer to execute creative and effective marketing campaigns, turning small budgets into highly successful outcomes. You will need to be nimble and resourceful and be able to recommend changes as we test different customer acquisition strategies.
Work with the CEO/COO on development and execution of highly creative communications strategies for Bird&Be in Canada/US
Lead digital marketing strategy to amplify the impact, influence and visibility of brand and product launches
Focus on building brand awareness and authority, driving traffic and growing the business
Align digital marketing support to amplify PR strategy
Analyze metrics to understand where we need to improve performance, make changes, or double down on a highly functioning strategy
Experienced (3+ years experience) in launching small to large-scale digital (earned and paid) campaigns with an understanding of ROI and measuring customer insights
You are passionate about driving stories across different social channels
Excellent knowledge of media, cultural landscape and societal dynamics in Canada and the US
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and full proficiency in English
Strong problem solving skills with a creative approach
